Behavioral Analysis

“…. was unable to voice my concerns for so long. It was such a relief to finally be able to talk about my issues and fears with a trusted person.”  – Alexis, Florida

Behavior Analysis is a science that seeks to understand the behavior of individuals as well as the factors that may influence them as a whole.  Factors such as Experiential, Biological, and Pharmacological features influence humans and even animals with maladaptive behaviors. Its study undertakes the task of replacing these maladaptive behaviors with adaptive ones while alleviating problem behaviors to effect a prolonged and supported life for all involved. It treats adults and pediatrics based on age-appropriate techniques and solutions.

The science of behavior analysis has made discoveries that have proven useful in addressing socially important behavior such as drug-taking, healthy eating, workplace safety, education, and the treatment of pervasive developmental disabilities (e.g., autism).

In addition, tackling issues from task refusal/Non-Compliance, physical aggression, self-stimulatory behavior, vocal outbursts, Inappropriate socialization, isolation, and elopement to name a few. It requires a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and most times a Behavior Assistant (BA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) however a Board-Certified Behavior Assistant (BCaBA) can work as long as supervised by BCBA.

RBT Online Training & Free RBT Prep Exam

RBT training is a great opportunity to advance careers, especially for those who work with individuals with Autism but do not have college degrees. RBT training can leverage and extend existing expertise by introducing the technology of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to a non-certified audience like paraprofessionals, educators, or parents.
